Collegiate Pacific completes Tomark acquisition

Collegiate Pacific (AMEX:BOO) has completed the acquisition of Tomark Sports of Corona, Calif., and has raised its revenue and earnings targets for its third quarter, which ends March 31.

Michael Blumenfeld, Collegiate's CEO, said the recent acquisition and the acceleration of internal growth could mean a record $10 million in revenue for the third quarter, or up about 50 percent over the same period a year ago. The company expects operating income for the quarter of about $1 million, he said. The projected income for the quarter is expected to surpass all operating income produced in fiscal 2003.

Collegiate Pacific is a manufacturer and supplier of sports equipment primarily to the institutional markets. The Company now offers more than 4,200 products to approximately 65,000 existing customers.
