Hunt Petroleum, founded by the legendary Texas oil man H.L. Hunt in the 1920s, engaged LDH as special corporate counsel in 2007 to advise the company in considering strategic alternatives which resulted in the acquisition of the company by XTO Energy in 2008 for approximately $4 billion.
